Imagine being encased in a heavy, industrial-grade rubber bag that is slowly drained of air until you are a vacuum-sealed statue. This experience of total restriction is meant to strip away your autonomy and leave you as a silent, shiny object in the corner of my laboratory. I will be the one holding the release valve, and I am in no hurry to use it.
